Why no more content? Errr what I mean is... - Guild Wars Forums

I never seen a mainstream mmo get a sequel announced so fast. This is what I am getting at. It was quite a few years before asheron's call 2 and Everquest 2 and all that good stuff had their sequels announced/released.

They said an expansion every six months, they delivered on this only ONE time (nightfall) eotn was about 9 months and factions was a whole year.

so just two years into the game and they want to start from scratch.

I mean ok so we have like 1-2 years (probably 2) until we see GW2. EotN ties into GW2. Thats fine and all but what about another continent? :O i'd buy it... or even another expansion but instead in cantha or elona? :O i'd buy it. And what about the 250 between gw1-2, you could have something during that timeline.... :O i'd buy it.

It's just i think they need to keep our interest until probably 2010.

And even after GW2 is released, they going to completely stop support for GW1? I'd like to see them make more expansions. Everquest 1 STILL gets expansions and people buy them!

Their full attention is on GW2. There will be some updates here and there, but there will definitely not be another expansion.

No one knows what ANet have in store for GW1 when GW2 is released.

There's really nothing to discuss here.
